In april geen Salone del Mobile Milano: uitgesteld door Corona virus

Het Corona virus heeft Europa bereikt. En dus worden steeds meer grootschalige evenementen afgelast. In navolging van het afgelasten van een aantal Aziatische interieur vakbeurzen, werd dinsdagmorgen bekend dat Light & Building is uitgesteld. Dinsdagavond werd druk vergaderd in Milaan en ook de Salone (goed voor zo’n 400.000 bezoekers) ligt eraf en is uitgesteld tot juni. Of het virus dan onder controle zal zijn? Het is nog maar de vraag.

Tijdens vorige edities bezochten alleen al zo’n 35.000 mensen uit China de vakbeurs..

SALONE DEL MOBILE.MILANO POSTPONED UNTIL JUNE 2020

Following an extraordinary meeting today of the Board of Federlegno Arredo Eventi, and in view of the ongoing public health emergency, the decision has been taken to postpone the upcoming edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milan to 16th – 21st June.

Confirmation of the change of date for the trade fair – strongly supported by the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala – means that the manufacturers, in a major show of responsibility, will be able to present their finalised work to an international public that sees the annual appointment with the Salone del Mobile.Milano as a benchmark for creativity and design.
